Shōgun: Καταρρίπτοντας ρεκόρ Emmy

Τα 76α Βραβεία Emmy έφτασαν και τίμησαν τα καλύτερα των καλύτερων στον κόσμο της τηλεόρασης από το προηγούμενο έτος. Το “Shōgun”, το “The Bear” και το “Baby Reindeer” ηγήθηκαν της βραδιάς με τέσσερις νίκες το καθένα, αλλά υπήρξαν πολλοί νικητές από ένα ευρύ φάσμα των σειρών.

Το “Shōgun” μπήκε ως ηγέτης στις υποψηφιότητες με 25 στο σύνολο και, μετρώντας τα Creative Arts Emmys, κατέληξε να είναι ο μεγάλος νικητής με 18 από αυτά. Κατά τη διάρκεια της κύριας τελετής, η σειρά κέρδισε τα Emmys για τη Καλύτερη Δραματική Σειρά, Α’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου σε Δραματική Σειρά (Hiroyuki Sanada), την Α’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου σε Δραματική Σειρά (Anna Sawai) και Καλύτερη Σκηνοθεσία για Δραματική Σειρά (Frederick E.O. Toye). Με τις 18 νίκες του, το “Shōgun” έσπασε το ρεκόρ για τις περισσότερες νίκες από μια σειρά σε μια μόνο σεζόν.

Το “The Bear” έσπασε το δικό του ρεκόρ από το περασμένο έτος, κερδίζοντας 11 Emmys κατά τη διάρκεια της κύριας τελετής και των Creative Arts Emmys και, ενώ δεν κέρδισε το βραβείο για την Καλύτερη Κωμική Σειρά (εκεί νικητής αναδείχθηκε το “Hacks”), κέρδισε τα Α’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου σε Κωμική Σειρά (Jeremy Allen White), Β’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου σε Κωμική Σειρά (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Β’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου σε Κωμική Σειρά (Liza Colón-Zayas) και Καλύτερη Σκηνοθεσία για Κωμική Σειρά (Christopher Storer).

Το “Baby Reindeer” αναδείχθηκε ως η Καλύτερη Ανθολογική ή Μίνι-Σειρά, και έλαβε τα Α’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου σε Ανθολογική ή Μίνι-Σειρά ή Τηλεταινία (Richard Gadd), Β’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου σε Ανθολογική ή Μίνι-Σειρά ή Τηλεταινία (Jessica Gunning) και τη Καλύτερος Σεναριογράφος σε Ανθολογική ή Μίνι-Σειρά ή Τηλεταινία (Richard Gadd).
